About Us
Pottawattamie Bowhunters are a hard working group of people dedicated to
furthering the sports of archery and bowhunting. Our membership ranges between
25 and 40 members and we offer both single and family memberships. Our
club sponsors several special events throughout the year including: Bowhunter
education classes; a free antler measuring event every spring with official
measures from the state Pope and Young and Boone & Crockett organizations;
various leagues and fun nights at our outdoor range; real man and bunny hunts in
the fall and winter and an annual awards banquet in January where we recognize
the accomplishments of fellow club members. The club actively supports
and participates in events like the Pope and Young Convention, Iowa Deer
Classic, and numerous outdoor shows. Our membership includes former and current
pro shop owners and employees, Iowa DNR employees, and several excellent
shooters who are always ready to lend a helping hand. If you're

of every month at 7:30 PM at the Council Bluffs Fish and Game Club on Lake
Manawa.
