Dues are DUE. $30 for single, $40 for family. Please get your payment to Roger.
Work party Saturday, July 18, 8:00 am at the range.
Discussion
on target butts. Might move two from Hitchcock to the Narrows. At the
Narrows could have two targets each at 20 & 30 yards. That might
help the target life. May need to rebuild the Narrows targets or might
just need to replace them. Could move them to Hitchcock since that
range does not get as much use. Need to get to Missouri and pick up
four more targets. Dave may be able to pick them up. Need to work on
practice target frames and bow holders for the next shoot. Will check
on the supply of score cards and registration forms, will check with
Bass Pro to see if they will pay for score cards in exchange for their
name to be used as advertising on them.
Roger
reported the Orion club had sent a check for the help for their benefit
shoot. Decided to return the check to them to help out for the benefit
shoot.
Roger will check on the “Sportsman’s Garage Sale”. Queen of Apostles Church, 34th & 3rd
Ave, has said we could use their parking lot. Need to be done by
2:00pm so we would advertise the hours as 8:00am to 1:00pm. Bring your
own tables or use your tailgate. Donation to the church of $5.00 per
spot. Youth group interested in serving a lunch, as a fund raiser for
their group. Our first choice of dates will be August 29th, second choice August 15th. Roger will check on the availability of dates.
Interested
in evening league shooting on Tuesdays? Contact Jay Wilson. Can use
the Narrows but would have to store the targets in Jay’s garage and
transport to the Narrows.
Insurance
premium is due in July. The elk target has arrived and a check has
been sent to the supplier so all targets have arrived and are paid in
full.
